P.S. ...
It was worth it. I'm so far behind on my sleep now but we won both games and it was a well-done movie. :) A good day!

I think I might be crazy.
Tonight I head out for 2 softball games in a row and then to the local release of the newest Harry Potter movie. Starting at 8:05. Which mean I'll leave here at 25 till 8 and come home sometime around 3 in the morning.
But for this:
And for this:

Busy week
It's been a busy week. Hubby is out of town with our youth group and we're keeping busy to pass the time. We spent the entire day at my parents' house Sunday, the girls swam in the pool and used the slip-and-slide while I got a lot of reading done. That was nice and relaxing.
Monday, then, we got an extremely wonderful surprise. My mom and sister accompanied us to the beach that day, where we were at the water for 3 1/2 hours (during which time the younger two got their first ever serious sunburns. Bad mommy for not reapplying sunscreen. Lesson learned.), went for ice cream, and then ate dinner out on the way home.
We were exhausted but I was amazed at how well the day went. When we finally got home, we were very, very pleasantly surprised by a bright and shiny set of steps leading down from our deck. There had been no steps down from it before, making it difficult and frustrating to entertain in, or even really use, the back yard. Now there is a beautiful set there, and all thanks to my parents! They look amazing.
Last night my mom and aunt came over to join my sister (she's spending the week over here) and me in doing some crafts we've all been wanting to do. Mostly they turned out really cute, though there was some starting over and redoing. I think my sister had the most success in her attempts. I may be trying once more on my signs. They're okay but we'll see.
That crafting time, I think, inspired today's frenzy of cleaning as one thing I did that I really liked was spray paint a napkin holder. That turned out really cute, so I had to give it a nice arrangement around it to show it off and that kinda led to cleaning the whole house. Also a good thing as I like it when the days are busy.
Tomorrow we're off to the beach with a different set of people, then Friday we have dance and the library. Saturday is wide open so maybe we'll spend it in the pool next door again so I don't go crazy waiting for the youth group to get back. Sometimes busy weeks make me collapse in exhaustion and frustration but I'm grateful for this one! I'm glad he can go but I'm ready to see my husband again. C'mon, Saturday!
